Over the past five years I've been able to start an online business despite having zero experience, very little money and almost no time. Being a father and a husband and juggling a full-time job means my time is extremely limited.
I'm an IT guy. I started my career at IBM supporting network engineers and sys admins. I eventually became a Team Lead and enjoyed much success in the corporate world. I eventually ended up moving to New York City and becoming the IT Director of a large media company in the heart of Times Square. I've held jobs ranging from a Help Desk technician to IT Infrastructure Engineer to Senior CyberSecurity Analyst.
I know what it feels like to have a full time job and to want more
But just like you I didn't really know how to start...
Of if I had what it takes to pull it off.
But I wanted to challenge myself.
I wanted to see if it was possible to make money online. So about five years ago I started a little experiment and registered my first website using a free web host to see what was possible.
Well as you can image that didn't get me anywhere. Almost no one visited my site and I had no idea how to make money from it. After a few months of trial and error and almost losing the little motivation I had left, I just started posting content and forgot about design.
That's when people started to visit! So I created an signed up for Google AdSense, Amazon Associates and surprisingly people started clicking my ads. It was a surreal feeling the first time I logged into Google and saw that first dollar I earned through an ad.
From there, I consumed every online blog I could find. Every podcast, every online course, every blog on starting an online business was mine.
I listened to Pat Flynn's Smart Passive Income podcast daily at 2X speed! I listened to Amy Porterfield's "Online Marketing Made Easy" like a maniac. I subscribed to Jeff Walker's awesome Youtube channel and purchased his book.
I joined Ramit Sethi's email list to see if I could reverse engineer how these guys were making money online. I purchased Ryan Levesque's Ask Method book and read the thing three times front and back.
I listened to Internet Business Mastery, Entreprenuer On Fire John Lee Dumas, Enterprenuers-Journey with Yaro, I listened at 2X speed while doing the dishes, riding the subway or walking to work. I was a maniac lol
And I basically joined every email list and even attended a live seminar on how to make money online.
While doing all this crazy research I started building my own business.
I was skeptical because it seemed strange (and somewhat unfair) that someone could create a digital product, sell it online and actually make money from that. It honestly felt weird, almost unethical. I had to get over this weird psychological hump of asking someone to buy something I created.
But then I realized the world wants value. The world craves value. And if you give people what they want and improve their lives and genuinely care about them you will get paid for that. And you SHOULD get paid for that.
So that's the purpose of this site - I'm here to help you reach your goals. It doesn't matter that you have no clue what an email list is or how to create a digital product, or how to sell or how to setup a blog or how to find time to do any of that stuff.
My goal is to help you reach your goal of generating a profitable (and sustainable) online business. Let me help you get there.
To your success.
